In 1988, after releasing a 12" single that became an underground hit and made major waves in the UK, Long Island emcee Sugar Bear recorded demos that would be the blueprint for his debut album. Unfortunately the situation with his record label soured and the songs remained demos, stuck on a cassette tape that only a few people were able to hear... until now. SpitSLAM is proud to present the official release of these recordings, digitally captured and remastered, along with the original 12" songs "Don't Scandalize Mine" and "Ready to Penentrate." Also we've included 1989's "Coming From London" produced by Richie Rich, a new recording of the demo "Get It Together", and the Headset Heroes remix of "Don't Scandalize Mine." Now everyone can finally hear what would've been another monumental Hip Hop release from 1988 previously thought lost to time.
